Regular Updates???

I would like to try and do more regular updates for my family since we moved so far away! I'm going to try and post at least once a week.. we'll see how that goes!

As most of you know, our dog Trooper (who we had to leave behind in WI:( We are currently living in an apartment, and he was super high energy. We just didn't feel like he would be able to get all the exercise he needed here) just recently died:( I've been having a really hard time with it. I feel guilty for leaving him behind, and just miss him so much. Anyways, Ben and I decided to do some research and try and find a dog that would do ok in an apartment. Not to take Trooper's place, but just because we are animal people and REALLY miss having a dog. From what we found, and looking at a lot of dogs, we have decided to get a cocker spaniel. Like this one maybe!

And some guy came into Ben's work place yesterday and said he has some that are seven months old, for a very reasonable price. So, we're hoping to look at them sometime soon. We'll have to wait and see if that works out or not.

Other than that, I've been babysitting every. single. day. I love it, even though it can get tiring at times! It's nice to be appreciated and have the parents recommend you to their friends and co-workers, but I'm having to learn to say no!

The baby that I watch is almost 5 months old already. She is a cute little chunk. We don't have a washer and dryer yet, so I have to put her in the baby carrier and carry her and the laundry down four flights of stairs to the laundry room. Thankfully it is not very far, and I get a nice workout!
Lately she has been going through this phase were she'll only drink 1/2 oz. at a time! She is a little stinker, but I love having her around!

We're really looking forward to my parents and a couple of my siblings coming next weekend! They'll be here for 5 days, I think:)

On the adoption front, there is nothing new to report. Just saving, and waiting, and praying! Please continue to pray for us that God would give us the patience and trust in Him that we need to live day by day. We've been waiting for children for seven years, and sometimes, honestly I'm sick of waiting:( May His will be done.

 We love you all!
